Shipping Policy

1. General Information

Vintage Giveaways ships physical orders and delivers prizes within Australia to eligible states only, in accordance with the Competition Terms and Conditions and this Shipping Policy.

This policy applies to:

  • Online orders placed via the Vintage Giveaways website; and
  • Delivery of prizes awarded through Vintage Giveaways trade promotions.

By placing an order or entering a promotion, you agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy.

2. Eligible Shipping Locations

Shipping and prize delivery are generally (but not always) available only to addresses located in the following states and territories:

  • New South Wales (NSW)
  • Victoria (VIC)
  • Queensland (QLD)
  • Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
  • Western Australia (WA)
  • Northern Territory (NT)
  • Tasmania (TAS)

The following locations are excluded (see T&Cs for state exclusions relative to the current Draw),:

  • South Australia (SA)
  • Offshore islands or international addresses

Orders placed with delivery addresses outside the eligible locations may be cancelled and refunded at the Promoter’s discretion.

3. Free Shipping Eligibility (Orders & Prizes) Orders

  • Orders over $200 AUD qualify for free standard shipping within eligible locations, subject to size and weight limitations.
  • Oversized or heavy items may require a shipping quote prior to dispatch.

Prizes

  • Free standard delivery of prizes is included to the Winner’s nominated address within eligible locations.
  • Delivery method (courier or freight) is determined by the Promoter based on the size, weight and nature of the prize.

4. Large & Bulky Items

Some prizes and orders (including guitars, amplifiers, speaker cabinets and flight/road-cased items) are classified as large or bulky.

For such items:

  • Delivery may be via courier or freight service
  • Delivery may require a business address or ground-level access
  • Delivery is typically weekdays only, during business hours
  • PO Boxes and parcel lockers are not accepted

Australia Post size limits may apply, and alternative couriers may be used where necessary.

5. Road Cases (Prize Protection)

Where road cases or protective transport cases are used solely for shipping protection:

  • These cases do not form part of the prize and their use is at the discretion of the Promoter
  • Vintage Giveaways will arrange collection of the road case after delivery at its own cost
  • The Winner must make the road case/s available for collection within a reasonable timeframe

6. Dispatch Timeframes

  • Prizes are dispatched within 30 business days of the draw or re-draw date.
  • Items may ship either from Holgate NSW or directly from suppliers.

Tracking details will be provided where available.

7. Delivery Requirements

Recipients must ensure:

  • A valid street address is provided
  • Someone is available to receive the delivery where a signature is required
  • Access is suitable for the size and weight of the item

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • No one being available
  • Incorrect address details
  • Access restrictions

Any redelivery, storage or additional handling fees incurred will be the responsibility of the recipient.

8. Damaged Items in Transit

If a delivery appears damaged:

  • Do not sign for the delivery
  • Refuse the item where possible
  • Contact Vintage Giveaways within 24 hours

9. Identity & Verification

For high-value orders or prizes, Vintage Giveaways may request:

  • Proof of identity and residence
  • Confirmation of delivery details

Failure to provide requested verification may delay/prevent delivery.

10. International Shipping

Vintage Giveaways does not ship internationally. International residents are not eligible to enter Vintage Giveaways trade promotions.
